Interesting. It has the older dash design where the color is integrated into the dash trim on the lower edges as well as the older style steering wheel...where the center pad is not a horn. I am skeptical about it being an 87.

Also appears to have had the cool police auxiliary gauge pack above the glove box door and of course the sweet bucket seats.

Good point. Steering wheel has the 83/84 thing going on, and so does the climate controls from what I can tell. Center dash has the speaker hole too. I've seen that on some 86 cars but not 87.

That is a beat up patrol car. Good for parts especially the suspension and coolers. A few interior goodies like the clock delete blank.

some things are just meant to be parts donors. Can't save them all.

I've bought worse condition projects. Pass side is concerning what with the rear quarter rot, B pillar rot, door rot, and probable rocker rot. Interior is trashed and incomplete. Seller wants too much money but could be doing that to deter the derby crowd. I don't see someone swooping in to resuscitate this one. Sadly. Wish I could afford to help, but I'm tapped out on projects this year.

I've started with worse too. Thats how I learned to stop trying to save rotten parts cars.

I was poor most of my life, so I was never able to attempt anything like that and learned from others who did attempt it.

if you want to fix that whole previously being poor thing, invest in rusty iron. You'll get poor again.

Nope. My 93 has enough rust for me to deal with. And none of it bothers me.
