    1987 Crown Vic for sale

I wonder if these sellers are actually getting this kind of money for our cars?

The interior of that one looks like it just came out of the dealer brochure. Underside is quite yucky. Doesn't hurt to ask but they'll never get that. Gateway is way out there on their asking prices, 9/10.

Must be a late late 87 build. The dash vents are those from the 88 and up models.

Maybe this is all just a scheme to boost insurance payouts on Boxes.

Nice photography work, hides how bad the underside and engine compartment are.

Pfft. My box was insured at 10k€ without even asking. Which was quite a surprise, I was expecting something dumb around 5k...

Over here, getting more than $3K valuation out of insurance is difficult.

Underside is definitely a little too crusty but it doesn't look rotted…just scaly. I bet one could wire wheel and encapsulate it with decent results. For the asking price that should have already been done, though.

On the insurance note I was able to get Hagerty to insure my 85 CV for $12,000. Costs me $500 per year. They do impose a 2000 mile per year limit though.
