1991 CVPI factory slicktop w/K-code rear and more! Asking $1500/make offer

1991 Ford Crown Vic unmarked police car For Sale. This is a factory slicktop with the 5.8 and duals. I have owned it since 2007 and have made a number of changes to it. It originally had a 2.73 open rear, I installed the complete rear axle assembly from a 1992 Lincoln TC (K Code 3.55 TL). I removed the factory rubber floor covering and installed carpet from American Carpet. I installed a 6-way power split front bench seat. The 2BBL VV carb setup is gone and was replaced with a Holley 4BBL. All computer engine emission controls have been deleted. Smog pump delete with the correct belt installed for A/C and accessories. Currently has no intake manifold. It has a good 5.8L engine, and the A/C still works! Police steel wheels with 225/70-R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires(less than 100 miles on them). Ford center caps and steel trim rings. Body is very straight, as you can see the clearcoat is basically done for. The trunk is full of goodies and spare parts. Factory service manuals are included. I have a clean and clear NC title in my name for this car. Has a cracked windshield but I have a Ford replacement windshield for it.

I have a lot of money and effort invested in this car but the time has come to let it go. Asking $1500 OBO, don't be shy to make an offer! It's gotta go. Must be picked up in Hope Mills NC. No delivery available.

I had been testing various aluminum intakes on the engine and after I removed it the last time I just never got around to replacing it. Other hobbies took its place. Odometer stopped working at 68000 miles, I don't believe the actual miles are too much higher than that. This car is a former unmarked detective's car for the Raleigh NC PD. Transmission is a 4sp automatic and shifts correctly.
