Hello all.
It breaks my heart to list these cars, but I have too many projects going on including a 2nd little one and a kitchen remodel.
First off, the 85 is my father's that we've had for probably 20 years. A lot of memories in that car. It's white with red interior, and has a rebuilt 351 from a 79 retro fitted to the efi from the 85 302. That's probably about as good as that one's going to get. It's been sitting for years. and as you will see, it hasn't had the best of luck with the Ohio winters. I'm sure there are still a ton of good parts on it, and the fact that its a 2-door should add some worth. It would more than likely need towed.
The second car is an 87 with 160k miles on the original 302. The older couple I bought this off of maintained it pretty well. It has a bunch of records. It runs and shifts okay. It does have an oil leak or 2 somewhere I haven't investigated much, but I would probably say at least valve cover gaskets and oil pan. My plan for this car was to take the usable parts from the white one and make this one my daily driver. It hasn't really happened, although it could already be a daily driver. It is much much cleaner than the white one. Probably garage kept, although I did have to patch the frame rails below the control arms. They both were rusted pretty bad, which was strange considering how relatively clean the rest of the car is and the fact that the white car's frame in that area is solid. I hate to see them go, as I said there's a ton of sentimental value with these brutes. I;m not sure what else I can say about them right now, other than the fact that I would like to sell them together. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves and will be waiting for any and all questions. I would like to get $3,500 for the pair. Price is negotiable of course.
