87 and 85 Gandmarq 2 doors for sale

    Hello all.

It breaks my heart to list these cars, but I have too many projects going on including a 2nd little one and a kitchen remodel.

First off, the 85 is my father's that we've had for probably 20 years. A lot of memories in that car. It's white with red interior, and has a rebuilt 351 from a 79 retro fitted to the efi from the 85 302. That's probably about as good as that one's going to get. It's been sitting for years. and as you will see, it hasn't had the best of luck with the Ohio winters. I'm sure there are still a ton of good parts on it, and the fact that its a 2-door should add some worth. It would more than likely need towed.

The second car is an 87 with 160k miles on the original 302. The older couple I bought this off of maintained it pretty well. It has a bunch of records. It runs and shifts okay. It does have an oil leak or 2 somewhere I haven't investigated much, but I would probably say at least valve cover gaskets and oil pan. My plan for this car was to take the usable parts from the white one and make this one my daily driver. It hasn't really happened, although it could already be a daily driver. It is much much cleaner than the white one. Probably garage kept, although I did have to patch the frame rails below the control arms. They both were rusted pretty bad, which was strange considering how relatively clean the rest of the car is and the fact that the white car's frame in that area is solid. I hate to see them go, as I said there's a ton of sentimental value with these brutes. I;m not sure what else I can say about them right now, other than the fact that I would like to sell them together. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves and will be waiting for any and all questions. I would like to get $3,500 for the pair. Price is negotiable of course.

Wish you the best selling them. The white one hurts my eyes considering I had to junk a rust free, complete 2 door. Both cars were a good color combination when they were new. If you end up selling just parts, let me know.

Thanks. I really hope it doesn't come to parting them out. I'd like to sell them as whole cars, even though the 85 has already donated some parts to the 87..

bump. $3,300 for the pair or make an offer on either one.

I don't want to scrap the white one, but I don't have the time to part it out either.

does the 85 run? (doesn't need to drive, but will it start and run?)

Yes it does. It will need a battery to get it running. It will drive up a trailer I'm sure too. I don't know if I'd take it on the road again though.

Yes its still here. Make an offer and I can discuss it with my dad. I would have to get the title from him anyways since it's technically his.

                            Thanks
