1990 Lincoln Town Car with 2001 GT40P with headers and much more

This is a 1990 Lincoln TownCar.
This is a great daily driver. Very Reliable. Comfortable and great for trips.
This has been my daily driver for my commute back and forth to work. This is a very mechanically sound vehicle.

This is a great vehicle for a street rod conversion also. This car has been fitted with a 2001 5.0 from a Ford Explorer. This has roller lifters, the big intake like what is supplied on the H.O mustangs.
It is a GT40 with the highly desriable "P" heads with the angled sparkplugs for better combustion.
All of the air pump and smog equipment have been removed from the vehicle. A set of ceramic coated headers have been installed that will never rust or tarnish. It has been fitted with a complete 2.5" exhaust system with the mustang off road "H" pipes with no catalytic converters. Large mufflers keep the tone just right with no drone noise. A set of larger injectors have been installed. The egr valve has been removed and replaced with a machined block of aluminum. The computer has been replaced with a Mark VII computer to run the larger injectors. This also has an electric fan with new radiator.
This car also has the Ford 8.8" rear axle for strength. The rear axle rides on air bags and is a VERY comfortable ride.
This also has the AOD overdrive transmission with about 20,000 miles on a rebuild. The engine has about 95,000 miles on it.

Feel free to contact me. I will try to check this ad every few days or see the CL link for phone or text.

    want... needs 3G alt conversion.

hows the interior and underside (frame)?

I gots no monies to spend on it, but I know others would want that info.

It might need the alt conversion and I had plans to do that but have had no problems with the one on it now.
The frame and underside is in excellent shape. This is a southern car all it's life so no rust.
The interior is in good shape. It is grey with the felt like seats. I replaced the rear seat with one from my old '95 limo. The rear seat is leather. I did this because I have kids and I know what chocolate milk will do to the factory seat. I still have the factory rear seat wrapped in plastic in storage.
The headliner is starting to sag. There is a mark on the front carpet where a windshield sun visor was taken out and put on the floor and it had some of the tar like stuff on it. Otherwise it is in good shape. The drivers seat is in good shape too. It always had a towel on so there is no wear on it. The windshield has cracks also but does not bother me at all.

OK. I loaded some photos of the interior. The sun is tough to take pics in but hopefully you will see the condition I mentioned.
No holes in carpet and it is not worn much at all.
Any other questions feel free to let me know.

very nice. If I wasn't trying to sell one myself, I'd very much be all over this one.

If only A you were closer, and B I had any chance in hell of convincing my mother to drive such a vehicle. I've considered trying to put her in an 80s wagon too, but she'll have none of it.
