Selling my 88 CVLX. Has 84k miles. Only problem with it is that it has a hard time starting. Takes a couple tries to crank over. No rust. Was a desert car till last year. Interior is nearly perfect. Could use new carpet, but other than that it is in great condition. Good tires. Wanting to get close to $3500 Car is located in Iowa. About 4 hours from Chicago, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Omaha.

I'll give you 3500 pesos for it! It's a nice looking car, but in its current condition you'll probably only get about $1500 tops. Fix the starting issue and you may see around $2000. I payed 500 bucks for mine with 66k on the clock from the original owners family. Either way good luck with the sale!

Have you figured out the "hard starting issue"?? Might help in the sale if a purchaser knows what he is in for.

Don't think anyone here was trying to be mean. The point is just to set realistic expectations. The "reality checks" should help the owner to sell more quickly.

Interesting to note that his price is right in line with what people are asking for box Panthers in southern Ontario (Canada). Clean boxes are far more rare up here than further south, and it seems to get to people's heads - especially the families of elderly owners who pass away or give up their licenses. Most people here think that because it's old and the paint is still shiny, it's a gold mine.
Good luck with the sale.RyPow
