    Kinda sad

There is an Ebay auction # 190808886785 that I saw tonight. Seller is getting two cars ready for the demo derby. One is a 83-87 GM the other is a early -mid 90s TC. You have to ask about parts. I was asking about the seats. Seller is in PA. Auction was for a gas cap only.

I don't know what is worse to see, a car in the crusher or being crushed in a demo derby !

It's sad either way, but I'd rather see someone sell it to a guy who does demo derby than just hauling it to the scrap dump. IMO at least it serves one last purpose.

      Hi

Why you getting all worked up? They're only cars.

Every time a car is destroyed, it makes it a little harder to find them, or find one being parted out. I've lost out on waaaay too many good parts because of demolition derby people. I once offered a guy something like 150 dollars just to come and swap my rusty bumper with his (I do all the work and driving). He agreed, and when I texted him a month later he basically said he'd forgotten to do it before he demo derby'd the car. Perfectly good parts for me (I would have likely bought other stuff from the car too) and even better money for him gone.

I have no problem with people destroying old rotted out POS's that just aren't worth saving, but seeing people destroy solid rust free southern cars pisses me off to no end.

I need a wagon rear bumper and I'll take that roof rack spoiler. I sure could use a good wagon frame too.

this depresses me to no end... it nearly brings me to tears seeing yet another one of these cars gone from the world.... and for what.. 10 minutes of amusement.. that same car couldve brought a young family a cheap 10 YEARS of enjoyment.. keep doing this and there wont be anything left from the good era of family cars...
