FOR SALE 1989 town car signature series

Selling my 89 town car signature series. Has 133,000 miles. Exterior needs some love but interior is in great shape. added options: midnight red, Valino luxury coach roof, leather seat trim, dual exhaust, alum wire spoke wheels, cd player, bodyside protection moldings, JBL audio. Car has keyless, cruise, auto climate, auto dim headlights, heated mirror's only thing bad about the car is the A/C doesn't work needs charged, removed the mufflers due to them rusting out still has the cats on it and a little of the h pipe left, replaced the passenger side fender, the gear selector cable broke, passenger side wheels are missing center caps and windshield has a crack from stone chip. Many new parts and have a few extra parts to go with it. I installed a kenwood cd player because the factory radio and cd player doesn't work though still have them. I got the car from the original owner and it has been a NC car all it's life. He parked it due to a limb falling on it and putting a small dent in the middle of the roof right above the windshield. He also had a ford crate transmission installed right before parking it. Car rides and drives like new. It has many new parts. Very nice. You said the gear selector cable broke, so is it still driveable?

thank you and yes the car is driveable. The needle to tell you what gear your in doesn't move easy fix and fairly cheap I believe just haven't had the time recently.

Sure the A/C is just a charge? How long has it been low of Freon? Would need a paint job and cable for shift selector (maybe more). Have you thought about fixing and keeping it?

Oh so its just the little needle on the PRND21 ? I thought you meant the actual shifter linkage.

no the shifter linkage works just fine lol... and no you just need the cable assy that goes from the shifter to the needle.. there is a picture above where you can see the needle is there.

not sure on how long its been low and also yes just need the gear indicator cable and bracket. I have thought about fixing the paint an the small things it's just I have 2 other car's and with gas prices I can't afford to drive it much. Would rather sell it to someone who will enjoy it than see it just sit

if it doesn't sell within a month or so I am pulling the drivetrain out for a engine swap in my 78 volvo wagon and will part the car out or sell as parts car which I didn't want to do
