Just a warning, I've concluded that I talked the car up a bit too much in the original post. I assumed any interest would come from people who'd been following what's been done with it in the past few years, and would understand that it really ought to get a frame-off restoration and will probably need a fair bit of work if it's to be registered other than as antique/classic in an area that has inspections of any sort.

You do understand that this car is a PROJECT, and should not be put into DD duty as-is?
Congrats on being honest as to it's condition - wish more folks were the same!! Bobby

Yeah it would be registered as a classic car aand only driven/worked on on the weekends, but we just can,t get up there. Looks beautiful in the pics though! Wish i could have it.
Yeah, transportation costs are the killer. A guy in Florida was interested in my two-door, but he was looking at more like $600 shipped, which would mean me taking -$200 for it. Cheaper in that case to donate it to our local Volunteers for America! LOL

Yeah ... well, I had to explain the condition again to someone I'd considered a kinda/sorta friend who I thought had been familiar with what was on the car back when torquelover had it, be nice not to have that sort of misunderstanding continue to come up.

it actually wouldn't be a bad idea to donate it. yeah you're out the money you put into it (which I'm sure has been alot), but someone could get good use outta her and you can use it as a tax writeoff if I'm not mistaken. In essence you would still get money for it, but not until next tax season.

Dunno who that would've been, only one other GMN'er has seen the thing when I had it. A lot more CVN guys have seen it, but they're mostly into whales/aeros. I might have a completely smog-ready drivetrain available for it soon if someone were interested in combining the two...

If I had a place to put that thing I'd be on my way up there to pick it up...that's a screamin deal....those cars are real common down here and rust free parts are easy to come by.

              Good luck with the sale!

                            P72 is sold!

Just in case anyone finds this instead of the newer for-sale thread. Car went to a new home just yesterday, in fact. Sounds like the new owner's going to really enjoy it. I'm told we should look out for a new RR thread soon!
