1982 Mercury Marquis Brougham 2 door for sale

This is a one owner 1982 Mercury Marquis brougham (Mid level full size Merc.) 2 door. White with red half top and red vinyl interior. It has 212,000 miles on it. 255 V-8 with AOD A/C recliner seats. Am/Fm radio, wire wheel covers, power windows, cruise, no tilt. transmission cooler It also has Police car sway bars, and springs, This car is located in an outside storage lot in Ridgecrest, Ca. It was last on the road in 1996. I have clear title (registered as a non-op) and ALL repair and service records since new.
Since it has been sitting in a outside storage lot in the dry Mojave desert for many years it will need complete restoration ! When I moved to Maine four years ago, the transport company never picked my last two cars. I am not paying $1,000 to have it shipped to Maine. It is too nice to junk unless it is my last resort. Once again, It needs full restoration! I am open to SERIOUS offers. Whoever gets the car will have to pick it up in Ridgecrest Ca. It will need to be trailered.

The Mercury is still for sale. Would like it to go to a member instead of being a demo derby. It will be disposed of on my next trip to Ca. in January. Want a smooth transaction

I would so pay good money for the trim on that car. ! would take the whole car but, its too much for shipping.

I would like to keep the doors also(my 83 GM can use them) however the cost of shipping is the killer! Really want someone here to save this car.

I'm about as far away from that car as one can get in North America. Other than that, I'd buy it myself.
