Parting out a 1982 Crown Victoria

Hello, I bought this 59k 1982 that has not run since it was stored in 92. I am using the dashpad, the doors, fenders hood and trunk. Before it goes on FB wanted to see if anyone needed anything. Interior is clean with no evidence of mice.

Parting out? For why? Looks solid enough to make a great drive-a-beater and in original condition. Someone would probably want the whole car.

I'm not necessarily in a position to come get them, but if the bumpers are both in good shape they're worth hanging onto and not including in the sale of the shell which likely will become a derby car.

The bumpers, particularly the rear, are hard to come by in a condition suitable for a driver, and highly prized by the derby car builders, so they can be difficult to put your hands on when needed for a car that still sees the road. They rust from the inside out until the chrome is the only thing left, and then suddenly they go from "that looks alright" to a giant gaping hole in a matter of seconds.

I have 4 of these cars and this be used to fill gaps to making my LTD-s complete. I needed the doors, hood and trunk. Fenders will be used for the repaint of my black 86 (MIB car) and the seals are still soft, so I will use those on my 87. Also pulling the front window trim with the weather seal as those are mint and all the rub strips are mint. Big thing is the dash is perfect. I will install that on the 85, as it has some speaker cracking.

The lower trim (rubber chrome) on the trunk that always is cracked or pealed is still new, just dont know how to remove that without breaking it.

This thing still has the "sears" branded tires and the original motorcraft battery. Engine turns over, but would need to clean out the fuel system, oil change etc.

I don't necessarily need these, but those are 15" wheels on a car that should have 14". Be worth a look to see if they have the nubs for the dog dish caps, either the 10.5 or 11" caps.
I'd be interested in a set for the 11" cap but honestly doubt I would pay the shipping, so please don't take me seriously.

I understand needing parts for another car but this one looks too nice to part out. I agree on keeping the bumpers and if the steering wheel isn't cracked, keep it.
You mentioned the Sears tires. I used to buy Sears recaps in the 80s and 90s 4 for $100. Great tires for cars going to be flipped.

I really lucked out. Under the 15" hub caps, were the police wheels. The trunk had another 2 So this turned out to be a great pickup for me to finish my projects. It is a 4.2L v8, dont know if anyone needs anything off that motor.

                      The 255 v8... wow. That's a rare one there.

If you were closer, I would get the motor. Low powered but it is low mileage . I need a rear end for my 90 CV with the police package. I need to check the drum width and axle code.

Most of the car is good, rear bumper inner structure is toast, wierd is that was the only place where there was rust. I was looking for those police rims, and actually now have 2 sets, no signs of hte original 14" they came with. All the interior pieces are still mint.
