Hello love the forum a lot of information to keep my 86 vic on the road. Been wondering I want to hook a temp gauge up my vic and I have read that you hook it up on the intake manifold, but I been wondering what kind of size sender will I need to fit the hole in the intake manifold? I want to hook up a stewart warner electrical gauge but it did not come with the sending unit.

Welcome to the forum.
You will need the appropriate sender for the gauge. All sending units operate with varying ranges of resistance to ground giving you a reading on your gauge.
Do you have a model number?
This is just an example but quite when purchased new the various adapters are included for the install:

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.
