PI intake swap on Non pi heads

    Hi,

I know this has probably been covered before but this is a new challenge for me.

I need how to properly apply the rtv sealant on the heads.

Is the correct way to apply it to the heads and allow it to dry overnight. That is, I put the rtv on the heads, allow the rtv to cure overnight, and then proceed with installing the manifold on the engine?

    Thanks for your help.

You apply the RTV then install the intake right away. Leave it to cure after everything has been reassembled.

I usually let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then install.
Well, that's with the grey RTV.
