    Hi all new gm owner here /wave ^^/

    Hey all.
    I'm up in New England just south of Boston and just picked up a single owner 2000 gm and I couldn't be happier. I'm waiting for the last snowfall to have her detailed and do some pics but I just wanted to say hi. I've been browsing a lot and I'll try not to waste any time making repeat threads but I know I'm gonna jump in the deep end and learn a lot before I'm done.

    I'd say what mods I'm looking to do but I'm really too newbie to even believe I have an inkling what I'd be talking about yet. I'll prolly redo the stereo and maybe some seat covers but we'll see. Maybe I'll get hooked on some performance mods once I learn a thing or two XD

    anyways
    glad i stumbled onto the site and will now go back to getting my education

    any basic mod/fix suggestions would be more than welcome.

    2000 Millenium Edition. 137k pd $2200
    Found a grandson selling his gma's car and closed it the day I saw it. Runs smoother than my gf's 06 nissan haha.
    Gold/Tan cowl, leather interior full pwr, cd changer (which doesn't work lol), 4 new summer tires + 2 new winter tires, remote start.

              Mainemantom may have ment your GM not Lincoln, undercoating helps prevent rust from forming on the underside of the car.

                True true. Rust was something I'm kind of shocked there isn't really any of on this. Just one spot about the size of a dime. So this is considered a whale yes? lol 87gtVic i'm curious how many people bought a box cuz of the blob? Looks so great.
                Just gotta get through one more snow season pass I think then I'll take some pics after a detail.

                    Power addition is not easy on the 4.6, you have to do full Mark 8 drivetrain swaps to get 320 hp or so, OR spend REALLY big money. You can do dual exhaust swap if it doesn't have it (mufflers are your choice, mean or sedate), and freshen/change the rear end/gears, but not a lot of easy hotrod power adders for these 4.6 cars.

                      On a whale, duals, Marauder/PI air box with larger MAF and 93 octane tune will wake it up quite nicely from what I've read.
