paint is one thing.. but you cant replace a body that easily, youve obviously done a nice job keeping the body in good condition. props for that man! welcome to the site! nothing but a helpful bunch of guys around here. theyve already done alot for me

Welcome! Interior looks really clean, have you tried buffing the paint to see if the shine comes back?

i have buffed it out before its not base clear that was an oiption in 83 so its really thin on the hood and fenders. Thanks for the feedback i have tried to preserve it the best i can. I have some older pics that i will look for that were taken back when i used to show the car. I still have the build sheet. Spent last to weeks getting parts and have boxes of parts that i just orederd like door lock actuators, upper ball joints, radio, amp. depending on how much money i have left after i get H.O. put in i will see about getting a dash repair cover. I will post pics as i work on the car. what section should i start a new thread in??

Check out the Reader's Rides section for a place to keep your progress documented. I still need to get around to starting one myself, maybe in a couple months I will.
