ALL-
Hello! I recently bought a 2004 MGM LS with 40K on the clock. Brown with two tone brown interior. Fairly loaded, no air ride (thank GOD). I drove '91-2000 model CVPIs for about 8 years on the job, so I am pretty familiar with the breed. Wife is staying home with the kids so the Jeep had to go. The Vette might have to go to! If anyone wants a 1996 LT4 six speed Corvette let me know! Anyhoo I digress. I have thusfar added a Kenwood excelon deck and 4 Kenwood 6x8 3-way speakers. I changed the fuel filter this weekend. Rear end oil and transmission service will follow. Coolant and hoses are in the mix too, probably with a 180 degree stat. As far as performace I will probably drop an dry-flow filter in and ventilate the airbox a little bit. I am going low-buck on this one, so it will be basically be upgrade as it wears out. Eventually the walker dual set up looks nice, and a rear sway bar would be lovely. The brakes are not the best (especially remembering the CVPI brakes), but they will work for now. Nice comfy ride though, love the power lumbar. I am digging 26 mpg on the highway (especially considering 17.5 in the Jeep). The 4.6 isnt a barnstormer, but it is smooth and pulls nice when you need it to. You guys have some great posts, and I am really liking this site so far. (I have been lurking for a few weeks).
