    Old owner of New {to me } 1991 Grand Marquise GS

    Hi everyone! Just bought this car and wanted to give a Big Thank You for this forum. On the way home I started my education on this great car..well maybe not the part that holds the tv busing on. and now the car is at a transmission shop,needing a complete overhaul I suppose ....The upside is that its got 42,589 miles on it, rust free and great body and interior. Looking forward to being able to join in the conversation. Later

          +1 ... AOD is a decent transmission, but the concensus seems to be that the stock shift programming is specifically designed to kill the poor thing prematurely. And if some idiot has been driving with the TV cable disconnected ...
