    New guy from WA

Hey, I'm new to GMN. I've got a 2002 P71 Crown Victoria that was once a Washington State Patrol vehicle. I traded a '98 Dodge Ram for it and don't regret my decision one bit. It's a car that puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

So far, all I've done is the little bit of work I did today. I re-bumper tucked it (the right away, unlike WSP) and disabled the "Dark Car" option to make the interior dome light turn on whenever the door is opened. The only future plans I have for this car is a Go Rhino! push bar and a better sound system. I'll definitely be hanging out in the Aero/Whale section when questions come up.

p.s. i apologize for the crappiness of the pictures. the only camera i have is my cell phone right now.

    future plans:
cb radio, push bar, cd player/door speakers/amp/subs

Nice car, good deal on the trade. Why do you want a push bar on it? I am trying to lose all the weight off the car I can, and you want to put weight right on the front end where there is too much weight anyhow...

i'm looking to get something aluminum and fairly lightweight for 2 reasons, really. First off, if I ever need to push someone or something (you'd be amazed at how much I did in my truck), i'd like a little extra protection. I also like when people see my car and think its a cop car since it keeps them from driving like assholes around me!

my 88 is too old for the "might be a cop" to work. But I have the push bumper so I can make people think twice about pulling out in front of me since I tend to push the limits at times. I have one of the 18 inch straight up push bars (bent over steel... heavy bastage... but not real heavy... only about 50# all told with the bumper cover - the chrome part of my 88's bumper)

*I'm guesstimating the bumper weight since it was a little beat when I finally got it back on the car and it was still a pretty easy lift. I'd guess that an anodized aluminum pusher would be about 25# -ish closer to 40 with the bars that go around the headlights
