2004 lincoln town car

Hello.This is my 1st post.

I cannot find an answer and need help.I would like to know who made the sound system in my car and if an aftermarket head unit and speakers would be better.

No website tells me anything other than its a Premium system.

im sure that JBL still made the system in the newer ford products. personally, i think they are a pretty good system. i would only up grade if you were going with subs/amp and custom audio system. if not, i would leave it alone, since JBL is pretty good stuff.

JBL made most of the premium sound systems for ford, in general i really like customs systems, alpine is the best soundign i have heard so far. but just replacing the stock speakers will do a tremendous amount as far as how the system sounds.

After having Infinity speakers installed in my fiances car,it made me think.I felt hers sounded better than mine.
Im 53,so I dont need to shatter my windows,but I love clear crisp sound.

if its quality that you want polk DB series are excellent , as well as MB quart. you can find a nice selction here

The Alpine Audiophile system came with a sub-woofer that had its own amplifier and an optional 6 disc CD changer.
