New MGM owner in western NY

Been lurking for awhile, thought I should finally post. I recently acquired a '99 MGM LS (thanks Mom) and with the great information available here, I did a tranny drain and fill (including torque converter) with no surprises. This morning I changed the oil and filter and she's ready for a road trip to Texas starting tomorrow.
    1999 MGM LS - 54k - Toreador Red - Ultimate Pkg - RAS - KYB PI spec shocks - Addco bars - dual exhaust added - MT(no Z) - BOC 87 octane tune.

My daughter and her family live a little north of Dallas and I'm due for a visit. Also, I need to scout around for a new place to live - it's time for a move.

I wish! The RAS was an option all by itself. I have single exhaust and a 17mm rear bar. Rear end is 2.73. I am toying with the idea of going to dual exhaust and upgrading sway bars, but will probably stick with the 2.73. I see a lot of highway miles in my future.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I drove 600 miles today, only 830 to go! Sure is a lot more comfortable than the 96 Saturn wagon I had before the Merc.

I've got 2.73s in my box Grand Marquis and I can see 25mpg on the highway all the live long day, despite having the aerodynamics of a brick.
