Hi there guys, My name is Robert and i am from minnesota, i recently bought a 02 grand marquis after wanting a gm or cv for a very long time. i am a very proud owner and have alot of plans. so far all i have done is a k&n intake. hopefully i can get into the muffler shop soon and get a full catback h pipe done. heres a pic of the gm. good day to all.

Thank you, the shape the car was in was a very big factor for me it was a toss up for me between this and a 98 cv police interceptor, granted i intend on doing alot of mods the 98 vic would have been a better base but the vic was in bad condition and was pushing 200k, this one has just over 100k on it and zero rust/body damage it did cost alot more than the vic though they wanted 3200 for the vic and i paid 6000 for the gm.

BTW- it is a 00gm not 02 as in title. i have also swapped to police style steel wheels with cv center caps new pics soon.

Wow do i have alot of questions, for the time being i want to swap out the stock muffler for a flowmaster or magnaflow part, Now my car is single so am i looking to improve any performance from just adding the muffler? or is this just going to give me more sound? I do have future plans for a h-pipe duel setup but its atleast 9-12 months out yet and im just looking to pick up little power right now. thanks guys.
