    Hello friends, r2t has arrived.

Hello. My name is Josh. I am 38 in Richmond, VA and I am new to Mercury Forum.

FWIW, I just bought an '01 Grand Marquis GS a few weeks ago. I am very tall @ 6' 7" so the leg room the GM provides is already greatly appreciated.

I am joining the forum to discuss the car and what I can do to it. See ya around....

If you only knew... haha. HUGE SW fan back in the day. Sold most of my vintage stuff already though. Made about 10k on it and was able to keep my wife at home with our child until she started pre-school. Mission accomplished.

Hmmm.............. :eyes pile of thoroughly-played-with Kenner products in mom's garage:

Neighbor of my mother in law's showed me a couple of '70s GI Joes that he said cost him over a grand each, but I think he said they'd never been played with.

Yeah man. I sold a sealed bubble pack 1977 Boba Fett figure that my mother paid $.99 for new, for $350 on fleabay. It still had the .99 clearance sticker on it. ROFL

Hey Josh welcome. Ah... legroom. I am 6'5" and with the seat all the way back on my 2009, its too far away to drive comfortably. Last time we were in the Lincoln/Mercury dealer, I tried out (tried to get into) a 2010 Lincoln MKZ. No way could I even drive it, that tight. That's progress, right?

Hey Ghor. Hahaha damn. Yeah, I could use an inch or two more really. I lean the back of the seat pretty far to the rear so a telescopic steering wheel that pulls towards me would be nice. Or I could drop a few lbs from the upper beer belly I have aquired. HA!
