I just got an '83 CV in exchange for some manual labor (totally worth it), and have never had the opportunity to work on anything that wasn't a Honda (except for a little while when i was working with this mopar guy who was completely for slant sixes) , so I expect to have lots of questions that I'm sure someone here can answer.
If there's anything weird I should know about my year model in particular, feel free to tell me.
I'll work on getting pics and goals up sometime soon.

It did run fine a few years ago, but a little bit of quickie fixin' didn't do it any good since as soon as it stopped again, it just sat there.
I know it needs a fuel pump, and it DID need little else besides a battery. I assume that long in a field means it needs a lot of TLC and close attention, but probably not a whole bunch of money.
It has both a Chilton and Haynes repair manual in it, and I think I'm gonna go through it and do everything from plugs, wires, and hoses (and a flush) to changing all of the fluids and lubricating everything it tells me to. I still have to grab a battery to know if my bulbs/wiring are/is all okay, but I can handle that much.
