    Just saying Hello

    Hey there,

I'm new to the forum and to panther ownership. I recently bought a 1990 country squire lx . I've grown up with the wagons.. my parents had a '74 country squire and a '78 colony park. I was destined to buy this one. My parents have had a few Grand Marquis also.. currently an '08... before that an '89.

A little about me... I live in southwestern Michigan and have been a Ford Man all my life. I have a typical family.. wife..kids..and a dog. All of which (except the dog) do not seem to give the wagon as much love as I do.

I've already been digging out alot of info on the car. This one has about 220k on it. The body looks good the interior looks great. The R12 AC is still kicking and all of the electrics work (windows, cruise, etc.). Well.. except the backlight on the radio. The radio works.. you just have to preset your stations if you want to know where you are at on the dial.

Thanks for the help and the forum.

I will keep asking questions..as long as you guys keep answering.

    Mike J.

if you want another radio i have spares what plugs are on it i have ones that have the 2 square gray plugs but i dont think yours does but if you have an electrical diagram for the radio you could just splice the right wires together and bam have a new radio.
