Me new no i am 34 i am old my son says

    Hi Guys and Ladies,

    im Andy
    i live in Holland
    im 34 years old
    three kids
    David 15
    Chloe 13
    and J.J. 8 months

    Scooby is our Bordeaux dog
and we have two birds cheech and chong.

    Ok my cars
    a 92 cadillac sts 4,9
    96 MGM ls 4,6
    91 jeep cherokee
    04 citroen jumpy (works van)

i am stuck in a bit of a dillema

i love my jeep i spent loads on it
4 inch lift kit, bushwhackers, 33inch muds
warn winch and bumper wireless remote etc.

i got the cadillac and the mgm
by trade some guy offered me these two cars to trade against my 91 dodge b250, so i traded drove with the van early to the two cars with my stepdad,
    after four hours we arrived.
drove back my dad in the cadillac and me in the mgm,
only there was no heat in the mgm and it is really really really cold here now.
so after 40 min we swapped me in the cadillac getting warm and listening to the radio (none in the mgm)
but found myself everytime as i was just about warm signaling my dad to pull over and swap again so i could drive the mgm.
now the idea was to sell these two cars and add some cash so my wife could buy a new little car and i would keep my jeep.
now i dont know i am even thinking of selling the jeep and keeping the mgm.
please help me with my dillema.
ok the cadillac is going what a piece of shit.
any way thanks for the replies

    Welcome!

Would your wife mind driving the Grand Marquis? If not, you might just keep it for her to drive.

That still means getting rid of the jeep.
because here in holland we have road tax that is based on the weight of the car.
the jeep costs 300 dollars per three months
the Mercury 380 dollars per three months.
then there is the cost of fuel they both do about 18 mpg
but a gallon of fuel here costs 8,85 dollars
and my wife runs most of the miles to and from work.
she runs about 5000 miles a year wich aint a lot but works out in these cars
at about 2500 dollars in gas alone.
now if she runs a little car like a mercedes a-class 140
it will cost 750 dollars a year in gas.
        so we cannot keep both

Man, ditch the Cherokee. It looks great and all, but you'll be needing tires soon and when it comes down to it, those things don't age well at all, having no frame. Stick with the safer Grand Marquis and you'll be set.

                          To be honest with you
they are legal over here but nobody i know smokes that funky shit.
it seems if it is illegal people want it, but if you can get it all the time its boring and nobody is interested.
                          same with red light district.
to be honest the only people you see in the red light district and in the coffee shops are tourists.
And to dismiss something as not good i dont agree with you.
this way the government makes money by taxing the coffee shops
and prostitition is a legal recognised profession in Holland as a prostitute here you pay taxes of your income.
This way you take these things out of the gutter and can regulate and govern it and make money.
prostitutes have to be medically examined once a month.
and coffee shop customers have to identify them selves and they are registered in a system.
                          so no shady dealings.
i think holland has got these things just right.
if you really think banning something will make people not do it then i am afraid you do not live in the reality.
