My '89 and '90 GM door locks got harder to lock over time until they no longer will lock at all. It is just the front doors that are like that. My '89 Crown Vic parts car is the same way. I just wanted to see if any other members had some advice on the problem before I start to pull the mechanism out for a better look. Thanks, Rob.

Power locks? the lock motors can seize up over time and do exactly that. I replaced mine on the '85 and just disconnected them on the others so locking it with the key would be easier and/or possible.Pete ::::>>> resident LED addict and CFI defector LED bulb replacements
