    newbie from atlanta ga

    hello all
just found out about this site
    i have a 87 crown vic 5.0 that i bought for $600 about 3 years ago
it only has 87000 true miles, i knew the original owners.
the reason i bought it was for the motor and tranny for a 63 falcon i am building.
i just couldn't trash the car cause its in such good shape, so i bought a 89 bronco 5.0 rust bucket with brand new tires and battery and ford rally wheels for $300. so thats my falcon motor now.
just need to rebuild the brakes, it had no rear brakes when i had it emissions tested. it passed the emissions test with plenty of room to spare.
but on the drive home(3 miles) the front rotor locked up. it was smoking real bad when i pulled in the driveway. it has been sitting for a couple of years so i wasn't suprised by all this bullshit
get the brakes done and she will be good to go.
oh yeah, found the answer i was looking for here on this site that i couldn't find on a couple of other well known sites
thats what i like, a place that knows whats what and not holier than thou to boot
    later
    gt
