    Timing

    I just put a new Accel modular on the Distributor to help the out put of my super coil. the timing on the car seems like its off due to a hesitation between 30 and 40mph and exhaust bafeling. does anypne know the stock timing degrees it should be set at or how high of a degree i am able to go. the motor is a stoc 5.0 in a 90 vic

    10 degrees BTDC.



    is the procedure.

    Not sure about those Accel modules. I put one on my car and it died on me 3 months later. I put the original back on and its been fine.

      yeah.. thatnks i think he accell modual was defective so i decided to put the sock one back on and it runs great.

          Or leave it at 10, which is stock. Not gonna see a huge gain going 12-14 over.
