    Been lurking for some time...

And I guess it is time to finally make my first post. Judging by the people posting here, some of you may recognize my ID from the "other" panther site.

Enough about me, let's talk about my car! I have a 1996 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I purchased it off eBay in '04 w/ 130K on the clock, and have spent a LOT of time repairing and upgrading it since then. Most of the mods are listed in my sig (and if they are not, I'll fix it later).

Hope to be able to contribute, whenever I can; I've learned a LOT about my car, and other panthers since I bought this thing...

The link for my cardomain is actually in my sig; just click on "1996 Police Interceptor", and it will take you to this address:

And since I spent the last hour adding pix to it, my supermotors page is:

However, my supermotors account really does not have anything unique; it is all copied/pasted pix from my cardomain. Still, it's better than the absolute nothingness that was there an hour ago.

Thanks for the welcomes! And I see what you mean about the 4.6 side being dead-yikes! But I actually come here to read the box body upgrades, anyways.
And more importantly, reading how you guys are dealing w/ rust problems. I'm interested in that because my car has rot developing in all of the usual places: Frame (RH side front), trunk pan, floor pan (above the cats), fender/quarter panels, doors (almost done resolving that), dogleg area, and rocker panels (they are mostly gone). Thanks Michigan!

Oh, in the case you guys are interested...here's what my car dyno'd at:

This was before I added the ported plenum, but I doubt that would've helped much. It feels a lot better than before, but...I can't help feeling that it needs something better. Like a supercharged DOHC.

Ah. You are correct. It was the cardomain page I was looking at. I must have been looking at someone elses supermotors around that time. Nonetheless, I like the upgrades.

You don't say - my tuck lost a freakin cab mount when it got hit the first time, ripped it right out the radiator support - had to build new mounts from angle iron and plates and grade 8 bolts, thank god I have soft springs so truck rides like a cloud till the rear axle goes over something.

Livernois, eh? How much they charge for a dyno run, I'm really curious as to what the dually will put out after the new exhaust...

I'm not sure what they charge for a dyno run these days. I had my car dyno tuned for about $200 two years ago. However, when I emailed them in august about changing the shift points, I was told that they'd do it for $600.
I'm going to have to call them and get a quote. Before I do that, I want to reinstall the lower 1-2 shift spring; it shifts way too hard for my tastes right now.
