    NooB to the pantherhood.

WHats up... im Will. Just purchased a 94 CV LX. Im usually a Taurus/SHO kinda guy but my last car (2002 Taurus) got totalled and picked this car up fairly cheap. I was just gonna drive it untile I could afford something else but it seems like a good project car. (hence the name). Just figured id introduce myself.

There are many modded Panthers here. Do you have a game plan for the mods?

              oh... the game plan.

              1- totally black'd out look.
2-gunmetal mag rims... poss. 16" or 17". the stock Mustang GT rims is what i'm thinkin
3-performance exhaust... not the cheesy truck sound either.
4- and of course... engine mods. just as soon as i figure out what to do.

the interior will just get freshened up... I need new door panels, seats and dying the carpet.

and im game for suggestions as this is my 1st venture into the crown vic world.

And have you thought about finding "new" carpet at a junk yard? i found LOTS of good carpets over at the yard before. that would be much easier then dying the old stuff...Just my

The blacked out look is great, but you should have some "hints" of chrome, Not too much chrome. But then again I'm biased I don't like chrome, I like stainless steel. But for cars/trucks, I like the stealthy/mysterious kinda racer x style.

                            exactly what I was thinking...

and i have thought about finding carpet at the boneyard... but the 2 "good" junk yards here in PC dont have anything good CV/GM wise... hell im having a hard enough time findind seats and door panels... but those need replaced. The carpet is just stained real bad.

Welcome! Another Aero huh? I got a '94 vic also. Have you had any trouble with the windshield wipers? Our vic and a lot of the '94s in the junkyard I've seen have had those wiper motors replaced. You'll know what I'm talking about when your wipers park perpendicular to the windshield.

There are plenty of panther modders here. And of course we have great tech people so they can help you with whatever problems you may have.
