    South Carolina Country Squire

Well it's not a Grand Marq, but thinking y'all will be able to help me out with the numerous questions I'm going to be having here.

Bought a 1986 Country Squire last weekend for a daily driver and toy. (Wife says I have too many toys...) This is my FIRST FORD! So needless to say I'm going to have a ton of questions, and I'm about to head to the technical section to start posting them up.

    Current fleet:
    - 2005 Toyota Sequoia (wifes car. BORING)
    - 1991 Chevy Corvette
    - 2001 Chevy S10 ZR2 with a solid axle swap, roll cage, etc. My real toy. Still Street Legal!!
    - 1986 Ford Country Squire. Giddie-up!

Glad to be here and get to know everyone, looking forward to fixing up this wagon and driving it for a LONG LONG TIME.

                *welcome*

Solid axle swap on the S10? I'm assuming you mean the front axle on a 4x4? I've got a 2wd 96, and my mom drives an 00 4x4 Blazer. Both are pretty decent, but that 4x4 eats front end parts. My 2wd one is definitely more durable up front than hers is.

Thank y'all for the warm welcome! The wagon is black, some day I'll get it repainted at it looks original and is pretty well worn. Lots of little things to fix up first.

Gadget73: Yeah I put a Dana 44 out of wagoneer under the front of my S10 to prevent busting parts. Only thing stock left on that truck is the lower end of the motor. EVERYTHING else has been replaced or upgraded. Sad really when you think about the money I've wasted on it. It's basically only a trail toy now...

to GMN. I'd like to see pics of the rest of the fleet, mainly the S10 and Corvette. There are a few nice C4 Vettes aroud here i'd drive the hell out of.

That's a thought. My wife thinks Corvettes are "pretty", and there's a place near here called Holt Auto Sales that usually has several lined up outside. I'm not really brave enough anymore to test-drive cars just to go on a joyride, though.

don't have a picture of the wife's sequioa, but it's just a stock boring toyota...
