Mercury Grand Marquis: Long live traditional large American sedans

I'm finally going to buy the type of car I always wanted: a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis. I hope I'll love this car as much as I hope I will. I can't believe all the years I've been waisting in cars like Toyotas when I could be driving in a cushy American sedan.

    Anyone have a Grand Marquis?

to GMN mang. An 08 GM is a great choice. You should try to find a tow package car (are there 08 HPP GM's?) because of the exhaust, suspension, and engine upgrades.

You NEVER get used to it...the rain sucks and always will suck...I bloody hate it here...I lived in Oregon almost my entire life...I want it to be nice and dry almost all year..oh and with out the constant threat of mudslides and floods.winter is the worst time of year here...no snow just ice...freazing rain ever see fog freeze? all we get for most of the winter is black ice on the roads and that stops everything. Oh and winter drives up the electric bill due to having heat on....ARG......Oh and black outs and brown outs (electric going out)....

ANy hoo I hate the pacific northwest.

and I'm glad theres a few more peaple from around this area they understand Yay!

I've lived in Seattle since 1990 and the rain myth is just that, a myth. It rains less here than a lot of other parts of the country and all summer there is almost no rain at all. However, the traffic sucks big time. I'm originally from Boston (and miss having a subway!) and I thought the traffic sucked there, but I think it's worse here.
