Good morning this morning i took and the distributor and left everything connected and grounded it to engine and turned it over by hand and started getting coil spark and injector pulse.I added another engine ground and cleaned around distributor and placed it back in.Once installed turned key over and nothing at all

If you jump the fuel pump relay to get the fuel pump running... try key on and using a screwdriver to trigger the starter solenoid on the passenger fender (short between battery cable lug and trigger pin - do not short between both of the fat lugs) to start the car with key on. If that works, you might have killed the ECM somehow.
Will have to test further. Check to see if the diag port works. If that does, then it's probably good and something between the ignition switch and the harness for the EFI is not connected on the crank end of it.Last edited by sly; 10-26-2024, 06:14 PM.

I found a partial problem.I got the engine running spark and injector pulse. Found that the starter solenoid s terminal wire will make the engine run when i jump it direct from the battery but when i hook the s terminal wire back it will only crank no spark or injector pulse. But there is a signal with 12 volt coming from ignition switch.Any ideas please and thank you.

Sounds like something is wired wrong. Need to check that the wire you are connecting to the S terminal is only connected to the crank part of the ignition switch and not being used to supply power to the ignition module. The crank power wire from the ignition module should also be tied to the crank end of the ignition switch OR to the I terminal on the starter for the pass through power. Most swaps should wire to the ignition switch to avoid connector issues with the added connections. Then the other power wire on the ignition module should be on the hot in run circuit.
Also, if your ignition switch is starting to separate, you may need to replace that as well.

Check for vacuum leaks. The adjustment screw shouldn't be touched on these. The idle air control will meter the air. Put the screw back to where it was as best as you can guess. Once you find the air leak, you can reset the set screw properly.

Here's the idle set procedure. Ignore #1. No feeler gauge needed. And use 10 degrees for #2. The rest is the same. Use A values (automatic) on the rest. Skip #7, 8, and 9. 13 can be looked at if shifts feel soft.
