That came out nice too. Oh not the ones in the door though...but the actual armrests attached to the seats in the sig models have compartments too with cassette tape storage and flip out cup holders...some even had cell phones!

Yeah I am definitely envious of that package. One of the reasons, I do not feel so bad cutting into her, is because she is pretty common, and the previous owner, did not care for it. I was thinking about having a center console with cup holders today, The lack of cupholders has been annoying.

Almost there with the ashtray delete. Was not super easy with my bridge saw, had to take the shroud off, and take measures definitely not osha approved.

1993-1994 CV/GM/TC have ashtray cupholder standard and will fit if you need cupholders. They aren't as good as the 1995+ ones but they work.

For that retrofit, make sure you also grab the mounting plate/bracket from the donor vehicle to go with the cupholder ashtray. The mounting plate/bracket is a direct bolt-in.

I had that ashtray cupholder actually. I think the final straw was a nephew in the middle seat getting snagged on it. There were some broken clips, and it was not in good shape, so it went into the trash. I want to put my Gauges there, instead of replacing it. Maybe after years of being color, code, numbers matching, I am glad to do whatever.

My 93 CV LX did not come with the cupholders. I had to refit mine as well. Was an option in 93 at least.

Mine came equipped with the pull out ashtray cupholder, in 91. I don't think it was designed right. When you put a cup in the holder, you can't access the radio. That is why mine went in the trash.
