We need a better banner

That combines the URL, the slogan and some box pics........... theres not even pictures of a car anywhere!!!! (in the forum structure itself)

if some one can move the buttons for with 'FAQ' 'Search' etc into a menu style on top of the furom list - Im up for making one that will stretch all the way across, I think it works better.

Also, whats the deal with the other forum skins? I want to pick one to go with a color scheme - last i looked there was only one. Is that the only one for now?
Is there any way to find out exactly what those colors are?

I think the forum software is still fucked up, so we can't add new skins without errors popping up. I agree, we should "spice up" the site to make it more exciting, but I just don't have the time anymore to make new shit, let alone fuck with the programming to make the banner go all the way across. Maybe I need an assistant or someone who knows how to write phpBB. :confused:

wow i like that one Jonnie... that would look slick color matched to a skin!

I might try to make one with like a thumbnail size 2dr merk image and maybe a nice engine shot on either side of a central logo, with some kind of background. Just brainstorming for now...

Who else here knows this pBBh stuff ??. I'd volenteer but all I know is basic HTML and have done a couple course assignments in Java/vbScript

now can we get rid of the 2 lines of text below it, and maybe right-align the user buttons just above the navigation links? That would free up the blank space.
