I like where this is going, but I think the regions are a little too big for our britches at this point.
Our annual meet is a "national" meet, I think trying to organize more frequent meets by region would need a smaller driving range... trying to get "hosts" to put many people up for even one day might be tough, and folks generally arent going to drive halfway across the continent for even an over night meet. Me thinks we need at least nine sections, for example the east coast would be "new England" - "central" and "southern" east coast... I think this would net much better interest in activities organized by region like this.
And Id like to officially volunteer as a central east coast host, I have place to myself with ample yard/parking area.
tom.....go look at teh lincoln mk7 forums. and all of THEIR regions. and notice the abundant lack of caring. the whole point of a worldwide forum is to unite all the regions, not keep them segregated.
