I may have found a fix for the last post on certain threads being linked wrong.
Hi, I am running 5.1.3. My upgrade path was 3.8.2 -> 5.1.1 -> 5.1.2 -> 5.1.3. One of my forums is very old (the guidelines and rules). This forum was set so that it is read only and no one can post.

I'll try this later when I'm at home and can monitor it properly. Will probably set the site in "maintenance mode" so the database isn't getting entries while it's trying to rebuild stuff.

Looks like that finally sorted the last post/recent post issue.

Let me know if it shows up again.

I wonder if maybe those need to be set up for an auto-run task

For my LTB thread, it came from trying to edit the thread title and first post title and the post title doesn't want to edit, even with admin edits. Not sure what's up with that. Thankfully it doesn't take but 5 minutes to run the maintenance updates for threads and forums.

Seems to be related to edited posts. I don't see a way to set that up to run on the regular though. I'm using the forum AdminCP Maintenance section to run these fixes (2nd and 3rd items).

possibly there is a command line function that does it. If so, stick it in as a cron job to run on whatever basis makes sense.

Seems there was a problem with attachments over the last day-ish that I didn't realize until shortly ago. No old attachments were lost but anything uploaded in probably the last 2 days didn't actually go through. Nothing I can do for that other than to say it should work if you upload it again.

I’ve noticed the site has been loading slower than usual and when replying to threads the posts take I’d say around 30-45 seconds to actually post. It’s not a connection issue as the other forums/sites I frequent seem to load just fine.

the attachment issue should be taken care of. Its a hack fix but it is a fix.

The speed I don't entirely know about but it may be related. Each connection requires a session file to be created, and since it couldn't create anything it was probably hanging. It does seem a bit less poopy at the moment to me

Yeah... I think we're getting session file bot drowned. I'm still having the slow post issue. File usage has been cut in half though so we shouldn't have the unable to post issue any more unless the server is just swamped and the database becomes inaccessible for a moment.

server load is averaging 20, if I shut down the site for a minute it drops to around 15 so its partly us but definitely not all us.
