I was trying to get on this site many times recently using Microsoft Edge. The site looked messed up and even though my log in info was there, I could not log in or do anything on the site.
Strange that I can can use Firefox tonight. This is the first time in months. So far so good.
I still cannot post anything on my cell phone, even though I can read everything ok. If I write something, the text becomes blank as I am writing.
I upgraded one computer to the Firefox Developer edition. As of right now I can get on and post without a problem only on one computer.

Seems all the browsers are defaulting that HTTPS only stuff and it's breaking lots of sites. Since this is not a "secure" site, the browsers tend to block most of the functionality if you don't disable that feature on this site.

There should be some setting to enable insecure objects. No clue what it is on iphone.
This page has something about how to get to the settings on iphone... https://support.apple.com/guide/ipho...hb01fc3c85/ios
Down at the bottom are the security settings. Not sure which setting will work though.

Seems to be happening a lot more often lately. Wonder what is causing the occurrences to increase?

Happened to have a conversation with Derek and the chat thingymajigs are kinda wonky.
One on top of the page dropdown says "Chat with (my name). Nonsensical.
Same thing with the message center and the chat conversation there, says X and I, and below the link to the conversation says "chat with (my name)".

"Server Too Busy" happening with GREAT frequency the past week or so especially today. Any reason why the frequency has really increased? What would the costs be and is it worth moving to a dedicated server?

been a long time since I was in that game but when shared hosting was like 10 bucks a month, a dedicated server was more like 100. Not a clue what it is 15+ years later but it used to be a very significant bump in cost.

I can still login when getting that message (but admins can always login... so there's that) and I still see no slow downs. I'll bump up the server load setting.
It was set at 24... bumped it to 30. Looks like we may have been migrated to a higher core count server. We could just disable the warning.

I have no way of telling how many members are affected but I can tell you I have witnessed it almost all day for the past several days so it has gotten worse and any mediation has not helped.

I've bumped the number up to 48. Let's see how that goes. Once I see an actual slow down of the site, I'll stop raising the bar. It was showing the server too busy message when I logged in just now, so I tested using another browser while I was setting it. If we see actual site slow downs, let me know when they happen (time GMT or include timezone).

Firstly, thanks for all your efforts on this issue. Secondly, it appears to happen randomly and today, at least, it was happening a good deal of the day. By the way, my time zone is East Coast USA.
