    ScottFest 2013

Well, once again, it is that time of year.
Just like years past, I start thinking about ScottFest, and how it's six months away, and then once again, as always, it's August and we're drinking wine coolers at Scott's.
    Grand introduction!!!!!
It's time to start planning for GMN's annual national meet at Skippyville! Every year seems to be better than the previous year!
Last year was the year of the wagon. It was a blast.
Scott's place (Skippyville) is located here:

    35 N. Tremont Street
    Newtown, PA 17981

    *** THERE ARE TWO (2) NEWTOWN PA'S***
I forgot which county was the right one, but it's located near Pottsville, PA, right off I-81

Here's a basic outline of the weekend:
    Friday
    -arrive at Skippyville
    -Possible junkyard run
    -BS
    -Go drag racing at Numidia

    Saturday
    -Junkyard run
    -BS
    -cruise or tours
    -maybe Centrailia
    -BS

    Sunday
    -Possible junkyard run
    -BS
    -Another cruise or tours
    - Official SF13 group pictures and prizes
    - BS
    - Departure for most folks

    Monday
    -Possible junkyard run
    -BS

There was a shooting range set up last year and everyone obeyed the rules, and everyone had a great time.

Here's a few things to remember:
    -Tent
    -Sleeping bag
    -Pillow
    -Folding Chair
-Air mattress ( last year, we fit like 5 air mattresses in the shop, in the back room. That was the best idea, especially with the rain we had)
    -Food
-Pop (or soda, for the rest of you)
    -Donations for Scottmang and/or GMN
    -Seagrams Wine Coolers
    -Parts for swap meet
    -Leave the drama at home.

We had a pretty good showing last year. Even though things took a bad turn, (especially with Skip) we all ended up have a pretty good time.
JOHN DAMMIT WE WILL DRAG RACE THIS YEAR AT NUMIDIA!!

Usually we look at the second week in August.
    So tentatively, August 9-11 2013

I can't wait for this year!

I'm gonna try and make it again this year, no promises. I would have made it last year but I needed a break and took my vacation in july. Hopefully I'll be able to hold out this year.

I have every intention of attending again this year. Hopefully, buying a house will not interfere too bad with ScottFest; I'll have to see how money plays out by then. And if she can, Sarah will probably be coming again too. We've had a great time the past three ScottFests.

Let's hope so! Just in case have tires that don't have bubbles in them! Vicky should be on the ground by then. Maybe even whiter than last year? With sexy rims...

Well, if I follow the trend of bringing a new car to SF every year, the Town Car would have to come. But I'm not sure which one (or two) are going to make it just yet. Way too early to tell.
And there's going to be prizes.
