Pete, I don't definitely remember, but I think that an h-pipe with mufflers attached WILL fit inside a sedan trunk, depending on the length of the mufflers. I know for a fact the h-pipe alone will, quite easily.


I have a factory Y-pipe that I'll give away for like $5 anyone who wants it. I also have stock Mustang tubular manifolds that I'd like to get rid of - make an offer.

I've never had a trunk car, all wagons...... it's about 5 feet long, may be able to remove mufflers, not welded but on there pretty tight.....on closer examination they have wrinkle bends so probably not factory pipes. They have been stored indoors in my storage garage for almost 10 yrs. There is a rattling sound, internal rust?

The tail pipe ends were cut off with a sawzall.
