Possible Day Trip for SF?

Hey y'all, I was flipping through the latest issue of Truckin' magazine. Apperantly, the Carlisle Truck Nationals are in town the same weekend as SF, August 6-8.

I've never been to one, but they're advertising trucks of all kinds, including rigs and monster trucks, as well as competitions.

I think it'd be neat if one of the days we could head out and take over a section of the parking lot then go look at some bad ass trucks. A car show during a car show.

Maybe we could have a group of those interested go down for the day. I'm familiar with the area, and know how to get to the fairgrounds from Scott's.

Im am going to be very broke if there are junkyard runs...... the truck show sounds cool, but I would rather be digging through old panthers trying to convince myself that I do not need certain things.

I'm not big into trucks either, but if some of y'all want to go I don't think anyone will get mad. Its not like there is intensive organization for this event
