LED services and buy-in

While at scottfest Id be glad to hook up anyone's ride with some LEDs - most of what I have been using lately consists of 194 bulb LED replacements and rows of wide angle LEDs on a semi-flexible circuit board.

The 194 replacements can go in instrument clusters, marker lights, most dash lights, door and sail panel lights, andyting that takes a wedge base bulb.
if you need help getting your dash apart or instrument cluster out, id be glad to do it for a small fee payable to Scott as a donation to the event from me.

The strips of LEDs are a foot long and have 30 LEDs, and are extremley bright... the only bad thing is that they are a bare circuit strip and will need to be mounted where they cant get wet, otherwise distrurbed and on a non-metal surface.
Likewise Id be glad to do simple installs for a few beers but any extensive Installs will be payable to Scott.

I get these from Hong Kong via Ebay, and both sellers only accept Paypal. So if you dont use paypal or Ebay at all, let me know by this weekend so I can make sure they arrive in time.

Pre-order prices will be at individual costs:
$3.50 for blue, red, amber bulbs
$4.00 for white bulbs
$8 for colored strips - $10 for white

At Scottfest any extra I have availiable will run for a slight markup ($5-6 ber bulb, 10-15 for strips)

how many 194's does it take for the instrument cluster?

2 or 4 - I think the difference is wether or not you have a trip odometer.. those have 4 i think.

heres a little something to get the endorphins flowing....
in these pics only the 194s are lighting the car... the row of small LEDs in the dash is off.
The LEDs behind the vents are the older single LED inverted-lense-side-emitters. Looking right at the 5 LED ones kinda hurts the eyes... I put the older ones in the doors becuase it was too bright... (5LEDs in the doors for the pics)

Also - there are some applications where the older inverted LED type bulbs would be more appropriate - anywhere the bulb is tightly enclosed or in a small place like for an ashtray or cig lighter socket.
They cost less too, more like $2-$3 per bulb.
Mention where you are thinking about using them so I can get enough of the right type.

yep I think your B pillar exterior lights use wedge base bulbs, so these will work.

If you have paypal, sure you can get them yourself Look in the links I poseted earlier for links to the ebay sellers that sells these.
I will purchase them for anyone who doesnt use Ebay or Paypal (these sellers only accept paypal)
Im going to order some extra to have at scottfest, but they will be used up quick Im sure if people decide they'd like some at that time.
No payment is needed untill Scottfest - pay me then for parts/supplies and pay Scott then (as a festival donation) for any labor I do.

For brake and turn signal bulb replacements, boxes only need an electronic (opposed to thermal) flasher to keep the signals and hazzard working properly. Some early 90s panther may be the same, Id guess up to when they began using the LCM (lighting control module) anyone know for sure?

Other than that they are plug and play!

The turn signal bulb replacements are more expensive, like ~$10 each - I have the 18 'flat' LED 'tower' bulbs and Im happy with them. They are definitly a lot of old style bulbs out they that strait out SUCK too... you dont want those

Pete see if they will do bulk pricing. With electronic components you can get them dirt cheap but you have to buy in large quanities (1,000-10,000 units) sounds like a lot but when they drop the price to pennies each its not that bad.
