Hello Everybody! The first Florida Club gathering was a success! There were six of us all together. The weather was A+ perfect. I handed out goody bags as well as a handful of Club brochures. More than one of the attendees told me they knew of other folks with a Mark VII. Lunch at Bob Evans was great and they were happy to have us there!

It was a beautiful sun shining day here in Concord for our first Lincoln Mark VII lunch in about....four years. Lunch host Chris (K MANIAC) arrived first to Baja Fresh driving the 1986 Continental, and was joined shortly thereafter by Rob (LSC4ME) from Reno, Rob's son Eric, and Rob's friend Mike, arriving in a black Ford diesel pick up. Then we were joined by Nick (ND4SPDLSC) driving his black BMW. After chatting in the parking lot until past 1:30, it was suggested (thanks, Mike) that we visit the local Fuddruckers instead, so that is where we went. We enjoyed burgers and good conversation. Afterwards, Rob, Mike, and Eric took Nick to his first ever visit to Pick N' Pull.

While the Northern California guys were gathering in Concord, the Southern California Chapter held it's monthly lunch some 300 miles South in Sun Valley In attendance were Chapter Coordinators Brent & Chris Wilson in their white '88 Bill Blass, Art & Kat Bailey in their Explorer, Steve Erler in his stunning 1988 Convertible, Pete Sharp and Steve Spears in Pete's Black 1989, D.B Samuals in his spotless Black 1986, and Seth Wilson and Toby Hammer in Seth's freshly painted red(ish) 1989 LSC. After gathering in the parking lot and chatting for a while, the deafening growls of our stomachs drowned out the conversation and we retreated to the restaurant where we enjoyed another great meal and continuing conversation. The next scheduled Co Cal meet will be "Fabulous Fords Forever" at Knotts Berry Farm, in Buena Park on April 21,2013 Chapter Coordinator, Brent Wilson will be providing the breakfast schedule and location in another thread and by e-mail.
