....got the ok from the boss to use my worksite for a "mini" meet...tentative date is saturday,september 22 @ 1:00pm....grillin hot dogs n burgers (weather permitting)....then possibly a run to summit racing to drool at cool stuff,there is a local "pull-a-part",if the group wishes to go...im hoping to have some "trinkets" for everyone(nothing special,maybe some hats n stuff,depends on what i can scrounge up)...will update and have a final plan by late monday nite (8-20-2012)....everyone is invited......obviously because of the location,no weapons,no alcohol,and of course,while we are there,no "foul" language...in other words...common sense....(hell,we may hit a "drinking establishment if we want to of course....lol)

Sounds good so far! i'll wait until Monday for an address. Right now, it's about 236 miles from my house. That makes for a 472 round trip. i will fill a 2 gallon gas can and put it in the trunk to see if I can do the whole trip on one tank of gas.
And of course I'm down for going to Summit!

FINAL PLAN.......Saturday,september 22nd,12:00 Noon,Exit 130 off I-77...directions from the north,take I-77 south to exit 130,at end of ramp make a left turn,stay in left lane,at next traffic light,make another left,then scan for O'reilly auto parts sign,turn right into driveway,go to top off hill,look for panther cars.........from the south,east and west,take I-77 north to exit 130,at end of ramp make a right turn,immediately get into left lane,look for o"reilly auto parts sign,turn left in to driveway,go to top of hill,look for panther cars....note,from west,take I-76 to I-77 north....from east take I-76 untill it merges with I-77 north,stay on I-77 north to exit 130.....Cookout cancelled,but i know of several good places to eat,good food,not expensive,since this is going to be more of a "Get together"i will try to keep things simple...a tour of my workplace is available if everyone wishes...summit racing is about 10 miles east of the "meet" location,pull-a -part will be on the way back(ill check to see if they even have any good panthers the day before or so,they have an online inventory updated daily)...as for food,we will schedule that for when everyone is hungry....wish i could do more,but i dont have the space for a "scottfest" type meet.....will stay til 1pm to give everyone a "window" for arrival....
