Ontario meet/cruise poll 1, post here if ur gonna come.

ohkay whell looks like were gonna go to Wasaga no matter what,

It's going to be on the weekend of the 21st.

The only things i need to know from you guys is:

and are we going to take the freeway or shall I try to plan out some sort of scenic route that buzzes a whole pile of small town main streets?

    and
    sat or sunday?
    sat -
Well traffic will be a bit heavier, but not bad
but all the stores will be open longer!,
gives people a day of rest before heading back to work mon,

    OR

    sun -
traffic should be uber quiet, lots o parking.
people coming from a distance and staying the night can take Saturday to travel instead of coming fri night, but hmm they gotta head back sun night or take mon off.

1.if you can only come one of the days drop a line here.

2.collecting cell #'s and e mails so send a PM this way.

    3. It's a road trip, to a beach, so bring some food, beach shit, extra clothes the gf, the wife . . .ect.

    4. If any GMNers are coming from a far(Like the states.) and want to stay the night before i got some space a my farm in georgetown just let me know, and if you're in ont and got some space to crash maybe you should let us all know.

    5. any ideas bout the meet can be posted here.

    6. And for all you Crackbook addicts i even made a lil event page so you can invite all your friends.

Once this info is gathered i will plan a meet place and time.

    any Questions?

Ok, so heres the deal. First off, I'd absolutly love to go to Wasaga Beach, unfortunatly, I start new job the Monday before the 21st/22nd weekend, so I dont think asking for the first Saturday I work there off is going to fly at all. I also dont think I can do Sunday cause a bunch of people want me to go to Canadas Wonderland with them, but I'd rather go to the beach. Its not set in stone yet....

Secondly, I suggest the backroads, get off the QEW at Bronte road, head towards Milton, go through Erin and past Creemore and stuff, I cant give highways or road names but I've been there so many times I have the route memorized. Great Scenery, great drive.

And I'd have to say Sunday. The beach stores down in the main part of town are nothing great anyways, nothing but touristy crap, besides I think half of it burnt down or something. Also, theres a public parking lot off 18th street, never that busy, fantastic section of beach, and the guy who lives beside the little cottage complex we rent at always has a Lambo out in his driveway, just a suggestion, I try and stay away from the main part of the beach cause the waters pretty nasty there and its always littered and dirty.

I will see what I can do...

I've had good and bad experiences there, the track staff are all massive assholes, and its pretty bad when a 17second car couldnt hook at all off the line, but this thread has been Back on with meet info!

Only way I could pull it off is if I came after work, but I'm done at 5, two hours to get there, 7-730pm would be ETA. Bays probably too fucking cold for swimming right now...

And with the Route, I only know it in my head, theres no possible way I could explain how to get there, and I dont know if I can get a pic of a map or not and do some MS paint on it...I wil see...

I cant really follow my route on a map, but I can tell you it takes you through Orangeville, Mulmur, Erin, Past Creemore, etc...

Heya jason, i was just wondering if you could do the sunday so zach could come, but only if svt98t and overkill were alright with it.SVT 98 lives pretty far, the other guys aren't talking anymore, and overkill is probably going to novascotia so (no offence guys) just in case none of them can't make it, it would be a little lame, I would like at least 3 cars there! It would be a good idea If we keep both days open just in case.
