Here is a basic list of upgrades to the 4.6L motor. I just a little tired of everyone asking "What can you upgrade for cheap?"
READ THIS.

-J-mod for 92.5+ up (AODE and 4R70W - 75W)
-Underdrive pulleys
-Dual exhaust
-3.55, 3.73 or 4.10 gears
-MSD coil parks (or aftermarket)
-Grantelli coil plugs (for COPs)
-Spark plug wires
-Electric fan
-PI heads
-PI intake (or other aftermarket...TFS, Typhoon)
-PI cam (or other aftermarket)
-Bigger trottle body
-Aluminum drive shaft
-Headers
-Cold air intake
-Ported upper plenum
-Nitrous
-Hi performance water pump
-Spark plugs
-Bigger injectors
-Bigger MAF (ie Marauder 80mm)
-Tune to match bigger MAF (and other upgrades)
-2800-3500 stall torque converter
-Lightweight flex plate


and of course

Forgot to mention 4.6 and 5.4 3V engines, Ford should have used the 4.6 3V and left the Mustang tune on for the 05+ Panthers, at least in the PI's and sport trim, woulda sold a lot better with 300hp stock.

there are various levels of transmission upgrades, the most expensive being able to handle a supercharger costs like 3k with 10 in billet converter. another intake ive seen used is the trickflow track burner.. for the 2v in addition you can use a teksid block and use 2v heads both pi and non pi varients my 2 cents

07 will already have a PI intake. Air box may differ though. But yes I agree links would be great. Most can be found through archives by searching though.
