2nd Annual Grillin N Chillin Meet WI/IL/Mn Area

I would like to invite all Grandmarq.net members to the 2nd Annual Wisconsin Grillin-n-chillin event. One of the biggest things that was missing last year was that we had zero box body panthers attend. We would love to have you guys and of course any GMN member. Hope to see you there. The 2nd Annual Grillin-n-Chillin Meet will be held on Sunday, JUNE 21st 2009! Last years event was a success with the exception of the RAIN....so, this year we have a shelter just in case. The location is nice and it is on a Sunday so we should get the majority/all of the 1st parking lot!!! There also is alcohol allowed for this event as well.


Food:

This can be done a few ways. everyone can bring their own crap and we can grill it up otherwise Tom and I will go shopping the morning before and pick up all the "grill" food and everyone can pitch some $$$ for it. Everyone is responsible for their own beverages and we could even do a "bring a dish to pass"!!! What is everyones thoughts?


Families:

This is a park, bring the family, there is plenty to do and a bathroom on site. Should be alot of fun for everyone.

what do the motels up there usually run? so i can figure what i need to bring. appreciate the research, my GPS isn't showing any motels. i figure about $100.00 for fuel + Motel fees

Let me do some checking and I'll let you know ASAP. Also, if you do make the drive. We are planning on doing all the prep shopping on Saturday and then going to a car cruise in the Elkhorn area, there is also a member coming from the Minneapolis area that will be there Saturday. So there are plans for stuff to do for those people making the drive from a distance.

Awesome, Thanks for posting those up. Im in Milwaukee, and even with a google search Im only coming up with hotel names. Not really sure whats decent down that way. See ya at the meet.
