Behold . . my 87 Crown Vic Coupe

Well, so far there's not really a whole lot for me to say on it - 110% bone stock, I just purchased it in October 2008 from the executor of the original owner's estate, who was also the owner's son.

Still getting used to it, but it's a nice ride.

A couple of pictures so far...

Perfect would've been if it were a slicktop from the factory, but, hey, who'm I to complain?

sweet, nice two door. Are you looking for turbines? I got some for sale

And I see you have a thunderbird as well. My family used to has a 86 v8 t-bird.

Sweet can't wait to see it progress.

Not sure yet . . ideally I'd like to find a cheap enough daily driver that I can keep it . . but nothing, alas, ever seems to be able to be set in stone for me.

Umm, turbines? I'm somewhat familiar with what turbines are vis a vis Mustangs, but I'm unfamiliar with that reference in regard to panthers. What's a Panther turbine?

An 88 Sport, which, alas, needs a little work, and is for sale.

As to progress, well, the Crown Vic has been pressed into daily driver service, something that I really *didn't* want to do, especially in New Jersey's winters... so, since it's such a clean vehicle, I'm hoping to find a daily driver cheap enough that I can possibly keep it as a "toy" car, or, more likely, I'll have to sell it to make room, get some money, etc., which would make progress nonexistent for me.

Haven't figured out what, yet, though.

and u couldnt make it a slicktop, then it would be too perfect.

just remember what i said, you have a lot more room to get kids out of that crown vic than i did getting my sons out of a 2door toyota echo!

i hope you keep the car, seriously. and if its a matter of the seats are too bulky even when flipped forward.....get some kickass aftermarket buckets

Yes, yes you do . . as well as numerous other people here whose rides I've seen! Turmoil indeed!

Seats aren't really an issue, though, just the not-having-a-straight-shot-from-the-door-to-the-back-seat is... though I guess it'd be smarter if I put the child seat to the side of the back seat rather than the middle! :P

EDIT: David, thanks for the PM, I see, now, and gain wisdom!

Damn that's a nice Crown Vic!!!!! Not just the winters that suck; the drivers suck too. Be very cautious in a car like that.
