    brake hoses

i just bought brake hoses for my rear disc brakes, which are from a 1996 cv and need to know why the driver side hose has two outlets coming from the caliper hose end and the pass side has only one.do i not use the center brake hose with this set up or just buy another right side hose.

Get left hose for a car with ABS. Right hose is the same. The non-abs cars had a line from the prop valve to the left side hose, and then a line from the right side hose to the right side. ABS cars have one line per side, no T built into the hose. Your other option is to eliminate the factory center brake hose, and make up new brake lines to match what a 96 non-abs car has. My car is set up this way, but mostly because the hose was on hand, and all my brake lines were being replaced anyway. I didn't feel like buying 3 brake hoses either.

when i put the rear disc on my 85 i took the brake line off the aero. I had to splice into my single brake line ahead of the axle. i ran this into the block behind the drivers side wheel, the other line runs across the crossmember to the passenger side

The non-abs seems to be the best way to go for me. How does this sound? Buy a set of new left and right non ABS hoses. (The set up with the junction box on the left with one hose to the front.) Pull all the metal lines from the rear of the donor car. Now here is my question. How should I conect the 92-97 rear end disc brakes to my old 80's panther platform??? Where do I make the cut and conection?

its pretty simple, cut the donor line as far up as you can, unbolt the tee and the mount on the passenger side, disconnect from the calipers. use the bolts off the donor to attach to your frame (the holes should be there) connect to the calipers and splice the line in with your line, i used a flare fitting, but a compression fitting will work also
